Ceramic Fibers
This line of ceramics consists primarily of alumino-silicate fiber in a non-woven matrix. The fiber may be cut and formed into specific shapes and used as a supplementary refractory to solve various heat related problems. Its uses include thermal insulation, fire protection, hot gas filtration, and a seperator/parting agent. Applications Include: Commonly used in heat sheilds, electrical heaters, home appliance and muffler insulation, glass tank and ladle refractory backup, and tube protection.
